First day of school I saw you with Miss Chinie Barunday, but I didn’t mind you because that time we’re not close and we didn’t know each other yet. When the bell rang, we went inside our classroom and our teacher asked us to introduce ourselves in the class, and that was the time that I heard your name, Miss Venus Eyas.

Months passed, many activities we’ve done in our class and some are groupings, and because of that, our paths crossed. That time, we are not that close, I am an AB student that time and you are an Education student, we only talked about academics, assessments and activities. First semester in the school year we are just treating each other as classmates, not a friend. And then, the end of the first semester came and I decided to shift from AB to Education, and I chose Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English, and finally, we’re classmates. First day of the second semester, I saw you as a serious type of classmate, strict and not approachable and I’m sorry for that. That time, I expected that we can have a lot of time to talk about academics and have time to bond because that time you are not just my schoolmate but you are already my classmate, but I did not expect that we will become a close friend. Now, in 2 years and 5 months in becoming an education student, we already have lots of memories, more than that, I treat you already as my sister, in fact, I already call you baby and you call me mommy, as a friend, that’s sweet I think, who have that kind of call sign.

In addition, the reason why you become as one of my closest friends is that you become my shoulder and pillow when I cry and a mother when I have a problem. I shared to you my problems and I am thankful because every time when I need someone to talk to, is you’re always there and willing to listen. Obviously, when I had a problem I chatted you and decided to go to your house or we will eat at Noemi’s and that is my memorable experience with you. Especially when I went to your house and brought a one pack of Pork Siomai and we fried that one and ate with a coke. I was enjoyed that day, and I am so happy because you supported me in my cravings. Most importantly, you and your parents welcomed me wholeheartedly in your house, and I thank God for giving me a one call away friend where I can lean on when I am sad. When we are together, we talk and talk, eat and eat, and don’t mind the time, unless my father will call me and ask me to go home.

Being with you I feel happy, safe and stress free, it seems that I am with my long lost best friend, besides, we’re both talkative. Evidently, you’ve shared a lot of things to me and through that; I realized that you really trust me.

Now, I treated you as my best friend, the person who understands who I am and what I am saying. I considered you as my best friend because we care, counsel, and guide each other. Someone said that, “If you have a person you consider your best friend; you should be able to be with them through their ups and downs.” I got you and you got me Miss Venus Eyas.
